Hi Everyone,

*Aim is : Cut the trace in given window and apply taper . recover original
trace*

*again but difference is now trace is zero outside the cutting window
without loss any header.*

1) Cut a trace as given window and save without loss of any header
information.
(problem is loss headers)
2) Then add a zeros trace have exact length of original trace in above cut
trace.

Any help or shortcut is very helpful.

    Dear Satish Maurya -

Make a second SAC file with a boxcar of value 1 in the time interval that you want to keep, zero elsewhere. Then use MULF to retain the data in the window. The header information (other than DEPMIN, DEPMAX, DEPMEN) won’t be changed.
