Hi.
I made two identical requests, one to the new fdsn station web service and
one to the old station web service. They were:
http://service.iris.edu/fdsnws/station/1/query?updatedafter=2013-04-10&level=response&network=TA&station=S59A
and
http://www.iris.edu/ws/station/query?updatedafter=2013-04-10&level=resp&net=TA&sta=S59A
The first returned 40 channels if information, the second returned 404: no
stations found. Why the difference?
Thanks!

Hi John and thanks for reporting the issue. There should be no difference. Our logs suggest that the station service failed to get a connection from the database and did not update the cache correctly. I have restarted the service and both now return the correct result.
Thank you
Yazan
