A postdoctoral position in seismology is available at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. The initial appointment would be for one year with opportunity to extend for a second year. There are multiple possible research directions involving dense array studies of sources and structure near Mount St. Helens, potentially induced seismicity in the Raton Basin, and regional-to-continental scale seismic imaging of North America crust and mantle. Specific goals for the first year of the position will be designed based on the mutual interests of the postdoc and mentor (Brandon Schmandt).
