Geology Program Supervisor

This position directs the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Seismic Monitoring& Investigation Program. This position works with a technical staff to identify and locate new seismic monitoring stations for the OhioNet system; processes data, interprets and reports results through a real-time notification network; interacts with the regulated industry and other agencies in Ohio, all related to new oil/gas production wells& Class II injection wells. The supervisor will review and interpret both 2D and 3D seismic data and participate with the technical staff during the review of both open hole& cased hole nuclear& electric logs. The supervisor will also interact with representatives from other oil and gas producing states and federal agencies.
