I would like install the newest version of sac on Linux Mint Cinnamon edition . After having untar the file (sac-101.6a-linux_x86_64.tar) I followed the whole instructions from README file, the binary sac file did not run and got I got the message as below

bash: /home/tolga/softs/sac/bin/sac: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

I am using bash

I also revised my .bashrc file as

export sacAUX=/home/tolga/softs/sac/aux
export PATH=/home/tolga/softs/sac/bin
export SACHOME=/home/tolga/softs/sac
. ${SACHOME}/bin/sacinit.sh
export SAC_PPK_LARGE_CROSSHAIRS=1

Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong
