Thread: Welcome to the Other Announcements list

You are receiving this message because you are subscribed to the IRIS General Announcements list.

In order to allow you to better manage the messages you receive, this list is being split into two separate lists:
- IRIS General Announcements (the current list) is for announcements by/about IRIS.
- Other Announcements (the new list) is for announcements by other organizations that may be of interest to the seismological community.

If you do nothing, you will continue to receive message for both these lists (ie. you will receive the same messages that you do now.) But since these lists are now separate, you can unsubscribe from one or the other if you do not want to receive (or want to receive exclusively) one type of announcement.

You can unsubscribe by logging into the IRIS site and modifying your subscriptions at
http://ds.iris.edu/message-center/
or by sending email to
iris-announce-unsubscribe<at>lists.ds.iris.edu (to unsubscribe from the IRIS General Announcements list) or
other-announcements-unsubscribe<at>lists.ds.iris.edu (to unsubscribe from the Other Announcements list)
(The subject line and contents of these emails are ignored -- you can just leave them blank -- but they must come from the email address you are subscribed under.)
