Dear MUSTANG Users-

About the time you receive this, we will have updated the MUSTANG web services to address some minor changes. The transition should be seamless, but this serves as notice in case something does not go as expected. Thank you for your patience.


CHANGE LIST - Release 898

Support for Just In Time Gap Metrics based on ws-availability service output ('ts_').
Provided filtering and sorting capability for web service sourced metrics.
Provided support for simultaneous database and web service based metric queries.
Initial implementation to detect data missing on in-between days.
Support for fast bulk-submission of metrics to upsert into MUSTANG.
Support for 'Indelible' metric types that will not be deleted by metric updates.
Expanded mock testing of web service behavior.
Improved error message formatting. JSON and JSONP formats get a JSON error return.

    Note to users-

    An unexpected error occurred with the /metrics service failing to respond, so I'm rolling back the update until this can be addressed. You should see normal service from the prior, stable release. We will attempt the update again soon.
