PhD student fellowships in seismology are available in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Washington University in St Louis. Research topics include earth structure beneath ice sheets and relationship to ice dynamics, cryoseismicity, and the structure and seismicity of Pacific subduction zones. Students would likely participate in fieldwork, including funded projects in Antarctica and Southern Patagonia.
