Thread: help on SAC data format

hello,

I'm working on a project developing an interface for seismic data acquisition. I was told to arrange data so it complies with SAC data format. I have no experience whatsoever on this format, and haven't had luck finding useful information, as the way the format structures, data packaging.. where can i get this information?, could you provide me a link where to read about this format?, or a book or a paper maybe?.

Any information you can provide me will be very useful.
