We are pleased to announce a short course adjacent to the upcoming IRIS Workshop titled:
Seismic Source Facility (SSF): Engineering, Permitting and Management

Date and time: Monday June 11, 2018 from 1PM to 5PM
Location: Albuquerque Convention Center, Albuquerque, NM (room TBD).

This short course is open to all but limited to 20 participants. The course will benefit new PI’s and students who may want to work on active source seismic projects in the future. We will discuss the role of the SSF, project management, engineering of sources specific to project objectives, and the daunting permitting process.
