Dear Web Service and Mustang users,
On Saturday August 25 around 05:30am PDT (12:30 UTC) the power to our main facilities building will be cut so that maintenance can be done to the building’s infrastructure. During this time, we will be redirecting all service and Mustang requests to our Auxiliary Data Center.
We anticipate that there will be no disruption to services during this time.
While most clients should be unaffected, not all clients will automatically follow redirect requests by default. We encourage you to enable this feature in your preferred client to ensure your requests are properly served. For example, if using curL, setting the “-L” option flag will ensure the redirect is followed.
We expect that the maintenance will be finished by approximately 12:00 PDT (19:00 UTC) and will resume serving requests from our primary data center at that time.
Thank you for your patience during this maintenance period.
Regards,
IRIS Web Services

Correction and clarification: data requests will be sent directly to the Auxiliary Data Center and there will be no need to configure your client to handle HTTP redirect codes.
Again, no disruptions to your workflow or data requests are expected.
Thanks,
IRIS Web Services
