Fully funded PhD and MS studentships are available in the Department of
Earth Sciences at the University of Oregon. We seek highly motivated
students with general interest in quantitative Earth Science. Potential
research areas include but aren't limited to:

- Ground motion prediction
- Seismic tomography
- Marine geophysics
- Earthquake and tsunami hazards
- Small and large earthquake science
- Fault mechanics
- Tectonic geodesy
