Hi,
I wonder if there is some way to install SAC on Mac using a .dmg?
The source file is not working, and I need to install it in that system.
I will appreciate some answer/help if someone has done this before

regards,

There is no .dmg file at present for the SAC package.

Please elaborate on how it is "not working".  You should read the various readme
files to make sure you have the necessary files/packages.

      Hi Claudia,

SAC can be downloaded as a disk image (.dmg) from George Helffrich's page here:

      https://members.elsi.jp/~george/sac-download.html

This is a version known as SAC/BRIS (sometimes 'MacSAC'), which is functionally equivalent to the version of SAC distributed via IRIS (though some minor differences are occasionally present). The main difference is that you may need to swap the endianness of some SAC files by using the sactosac program which comes with SAC/BRIS depending on from where you obtained them. The SAC program will advise when this is necessary if you try to read files that are little-endian.

      Cheers,

      Andy
