Thread: Instrument response files

I’m trying to use the IRIS noise toolkit which seems to use only FDSN StationXML files for instrument responses.

I have the responses in both dataless seed files and RESP files.

The StationXML-SEED converter seems to want a dataless seed file for each channel. My dataless seed files are for all channels at the station and were generated by the (Guralp) digitiser.

How can I get from where I am now to the single-channel dataless seed files needed for the noise toolkit?

I apologise in advance for any lack of understanding on my part. I haven’t done any data processing for many years and am struggling a bit to get back into it.
