Hello IRIS community,

The IRIS DMC will be hosting a Short Course on "Day 0" (September 8th) of the SAGE/GAGE Workshop https://www.iris.edu/hq/workshops/2019/10/earth_in_4d between 2 and 5pm.

The following topics will be covered:
Methods for discovering and accessing data across seismological data centers
Robustly collecting large volumes of data from the DMC using ROVER https://iris-edu.github.io/rover/
MUSTANG latest tools for data users
Research Ready Data Sets
The Earth Model Collaboration and model visualization
Alternatives to full SEED
Data format changes and their implications for users
The most important part of the short course is to hear from you. We will leave ample time for your questions and interaction with IRIS DMC staff to cover any other topics you may wish to discuss.
