Hi IRIS Data Users-

In order to consolidate our archival holdings of temporary experiments in one place, we are in the process of migrating data that was formerly in the miniSEED 'FDSN' archive, available via the 'fdsnws' web services, to the PH5 archive, available via the 'ph5ws' web services. These are the experiments that are being moved.

ZC 2005 - http://fdsn.org/networks/detail/ZC_2005/> Broadband channels moved to PH5
XD 2014 http://fdsn.org/networks/detail/XD_2014/ -> Broadband channels moved to PH5
YW 2016 http://fdsn.org/networks/detail/YW_2016/ -> All MSEED data moved to PH5

If you find that you cannot locate waveforms for these experiments via the 'fdsnws' web services (https://service.iris.edu/fdsnws/), see if you can locate this data in PH5 (https://service.iris.edu/ph5ws/).

The goal of this move is not necessarily to place all experimental data in PH5, but to ensure that we do not have data split between two archives. For the nodal experiment YW 2016, it was always our intention to located it in the PASSCAL PH5 archival system.

If you have further questions about this switch, please write to ws-issues<at>iris.washington.edu <ws-issues<at>iris.washington.edu> or this mailing list and we will try to help you address them.

Thank you for your patience.

-Rob
