SEISMOLOGIST/GEOLOGIST: SEISMIC HAZARD MODELER
Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated scientist to contribute to the first significant revision of our National Seismic Hazard Model in more than a decade. The successful candidate will contribute to the core framework of the model and to help guide its future direction. This work will include research across some of the many topic areas directly related to probabilistic seismic hazard modeling, with the specific topics dependent on the skills of the successful candidate.

GROUND MOTION SEISMOLOGIST
Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated scientist to work with our seismology teams to develop our ground motion modelling capability. The work will include fundamental model development through to application for the benefit of New Zealand. The specific topics will be dependent on the skills of the successful candidate and could include advanced ground motion simulation and/or modelling of local ground motion effects and/or earthquake physics. Skills related to seismic hazard/engineering applications and scientific programming are also encouraged.
