Geophysics Ph.D. student opportunities are available at the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Geophysics, Peking University in Beijing, China. We welcome international students interested in Seismology, Physics of the Earth’s Interior, and Planetary Magnetism/Paleomagnetism, who will work primarily with Professors Xiaodong Song and Thomas Berndt. The Ph.D. program is in English. Applicants need to have a B.S. degree or higher. Applicants with English as the native language have no language requirement, while those with native languages other than English need to pass a certain English language requirement. Financial support, with full tuition waiver, living allowance, as well as paid accommodation on campus are available on a competitive basis.
