Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum, but I am hoping someone can help me :)
I am trying to convert ~10,000 individual MiniSEED files into SAC. I currently am able to do so one by one however this is insanely time consuming. I have the files all organized into annual folders 2014 - 2018. Is there any way to bulk process these for instance by folder.
I am not a novice with Ubuntu and I feel like there must be a simple solution by someone who knows better.
Thank you in advance for any help I am greatly appreciative.
Steve

Hi Milton!
Thank you so much for the quick reply, I am using mseed2sac software for the individual file conversion. I am clearly missing something obvious. I will look more closely.
Take care

Dear Steven,
For bulk conversion use mseed2sac -i *.mseed.

Hi Steve,
Why not use mseed2sac (
https://ds.iris.edu/ds/nodes/dmc/software/downloads/mseed2sac/) in shell
script loop? easy and straightforward?
