Dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to our vEGU21 session NH6.2 SAR remote sensing for anthropogenic and natural hazards. We welcome contributions on (1) new algorithms to retrieve critical products from SAR remote sensing (big data) in an accurate, automated, and efficient framework; (2) SAR applications for anthropogenic and natural hazards including mining, oil/gas production, fluid injection/extraction, critical infrastructure, sinkholes, land degradation, peatlands, glaciers, permafrost, flooding, landslides, earthquakes, and volcanoes; and (3) mathematical and physical modeling of the SAR products such as estimating displacement velocities and time series for a better understanding on the surface and subsurface processes. We also welcome applications on ground deformation in coastal areas in the context of sea level rise.

Abstract submission is due on 13 January 2021, 13:00 CET.

During vEGU21: Gather Online from 19 to 30 April 2021, all sessions will run in the new EGU virtual PICO (vPICO) format in time blocks of about 20 abstracts for each session, 2-minute presentation for each abstract, followed by breakout webinars. For more information on the format

We appreciate your joint efforts in helping our science and research move forward in this difficult time. We look forward to “seeing” you!

Happy New Year and Best Wishes to 2021,
