Thread: Problem with PPK OHPF and CHPF

Ciao Bruno,

Please, follow the commands:
i use apf (alphanumeric file)

sac> oapf aa
sac> funcgen seismograms
sac>ppk
with cursor pick P pressing P and then press l for amplitudes
with cursor pick S pressing S and then press l for amplitudes
Press q to exit of ppk
sac> capf aa

I attach the aa file and the ppk graphics of picking

I hope this helps you, i have not tried with ohpf, but you can do it.

Sorry for the delay, but doing taxes took priority.

What you missed is that before entering q in ppk, you must enter h.

From plotpktable

      h If CHPF precedes call to PLOTPK, write picks to HYPO pick file {3,4}.

SAC> ohpf hpf-test
SAC> fg seismo
SAC> ppk [I picked a P and an S then entered h then q]
SAC> chpf
SAC> cat hpf-test
CDV IPU0 81 329103824.46 26.49ISN0
10
SAC>

This is done in v102.0.

(I know, it is not really S.)
