Earthquake Science (EQS) is an all-English journal, aiming to publish high-quality, original, peer-reviewed articles on earthquake-related research subjects. It is the only English journal sponsored by the Seismological Society of China. The current Editor-in- Chief (EIC) is Professor Xiaodong Song.
EQS is a core journal of seismology and geophysics in China and indexed in ESCI, Scopus and has over 30 years of publication history. The journal will cooperate with Elsevier from 2022 and publish with Open Access on Science Direct.
EQS accepts all earthquake science related manuscripts, particularly on regional issues of east Asia but around the globe as well. More detailed information about the journal of EQS can be found in the website of the journal with URL: www.equsci.org.cn.
