Applications are sought for a Postdoctoral/Research Fellow in global observational seismology on a full-time, fixed term appointment for 2 years. The position will be based at the Research School of Earth Sciences at The Australian National University (ANU).

The successful applicant will join a vibrant and collaborative environment in solid Earth geophysics with world-class expertise in seismology, geodynamics, mathematical geophysics, and rock/mineral physics. The role will focus on the structure and dynamics of the upper mantle and lithosphere beneath past/present tectonic boundaries from a seismic anisotropy perspective. It is expected that existing global datasets will be exploited as well as a wealth of seismic data available from current/previous passive-seismic deployments across Australia.
