I was wondering how best to reference SAC. The IRIS webpage give these
references:

Goldstein, P., A. Snoke, (2005), "SAC Availability for the IRIS
Community http://www.iris.edu/news/newsletter/vol7no1/page1.htm",
Incorporated Institutions for Seismology Data Management Center
Electronic Newsletter.

Goldstein, P., D. Dodge, M. Firpo, Lee Minner (2003) "SAC2000:
Signal processing and analysis tools for seismologists and
engineers, Invited contribution to "The IASPEI International
Handbook of Earthquake and Engineering Seismology", Edited by WHK
Lee, H. Kanamori, P.C. Jennings, and C. Kisslinger, Academic Press,
London.

However, this doesn't reflect the hard work of developers like Brian
Savage over the last several years. Is there an updated reference?

And this seems like a perfect opportunity to thank everyone that is
working on sac. So, thanks!

Regards,

Derek
