At IDENER, we are looking for engineers with experience in the mathematical modelling of processes/systems. The open positions are framed in H2020 /Horizon Europe projects in which the company is involved.
To carry out her/his activity, the selected applicant will be part of the IDENER team in charge of these projects. Moreover, she/he will closely work together with the other members of the project's international consortium.
The tasks aim to develop dynamical mathematical models of chemical and biotechnology processes and their subsequent computational implementation. The models result from the combination of a partial theoretical structure with experimental data provided by the other project's partners.
The specific position's duties are described below:
- To define mathematical models of unitary operations, including thoughtful mass and energy balances, chemical and biological reactions (i.e., chemical extractions, fermentations), mass diffusion processes, etc.
- To implement such models using Python or similar scientific programming languages
