Applicants using analytical, remote sensing, sample-based, and modeling approaches are welcome.

Environmental Science and Natural Resources Position:

We encourage applicants from across the fields of environmental science, with particular interest in areas related to the hydrosphere, including surface and subsurface fluids, (e.g. hydrology, hydrogeology, hydroclimatology, hydrogeophysics, ecohydrology), water resources, and surface processes.

We also encourage candidates pursuing research in natural resources relevant to the energy transition to apply, with particular interest in the subfields of geothermal energy, geologic carbon sequestration, subsurface energy storage (e.g. CAES, thermal, H2), and critical minerals. Applicants using laboratory, field, observational, or computational methods are welcome.
