Thread: area-filled seismograms

You can use GMT to do it. Look at function pswiggle. You have to run the program twice, once for + wiggles (red) and once for - wiggles (blue). I usually convert .SAC to required format using matlab routines of Mike Thorne (rsac.m and lh.m): http://web.utah.edu/thorne/software.html

There is an active thread on pssac.c written by Lupei Zhu in this list, which you can follow.

MacSAC implements the command LINE FILL RED/GREEN that does this for every waveform display in SAC (screen, sgf, ...).
