Thread: Assistant Researcher at the University of Lisbon

Dear Colleagues,

The Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL), Portugal, is opening one Assistant Researcher position in the fields of Solid Earth Geophysics, Oceanography or Geographic Engineering. The position can become permanent after a 5-year period. Applications should be received by 17/Nov/2022.

Instituto Dom Luiz (IDL), hosted by FCUL, is an Associated Laboratory and the reference research unit for Earth Science in Portugal. First established in 1853, IDL presently includes circa 110 researchers and 70 PhD students and manages state-of-the-art laboratories in Geophysics, Geology, Climate, Oceanography, Renewable Energy, and High-Performance Computing facilities. IDL research covers wide multidisciplinary research topics in Natural Hazards, Climate Change, Environmental Modelling and Prediction, Natural Resources and Sustainability.
