Thread: mseed to SAC with desire lenght

Dear Sonu,

In addition to the miniSEED file, rdseed needs a "dataless SEED" file
containing the information about the stations and instruments.
If you have a dataless SEED file, you have to set the environment
variable ALT_RESPONSE_FILE to be the name of your dataless SEED
file before invoking rdseed (use the following syntax for bash/sh
shell: "export ALT_RESPONSE_FILE=filename" or for csh/tcsh shell,
"setenv ALT_RESPONSE_FILE filename").

If you do not have a dataless SEED file, then you will need to
use a different converter, not rdseed. There are some on the ORFEUS
website.
