Hi All,

I want to compute surface wave dispersion curves from cross correlation of
ambient noises between seismic stations. For this purpose, I need to
perform time domain normalization via "running-absolute
mean-normalization". This method computes the running average of absolute
value of the waveform in a normalization time window of fixed length and
weights the waveform at the center of the window by the inverse of this
average. This should have the effect of removing the large events and
normalizing the data while preserving the amplitude information.

Anybody knows of any code which can do this OR any utility through which I
can perform this in SAC then please let me know.

Thank you very much.

Regards,

-Mohit Agrawal
