Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right forum to post it, but can anyone
please direct me to a tutorial, etc on how to correct the instrument
response for barometers (Setra 278 and Quanterra 330 MEMS barometer)
available with the US Array stations?
Attached figure shows example ~10 days raw data at station TA.T38A.
Channel LDO is Setra 278 data and LDM is MEMS barometer data.
While instrument gain (10.0) information for LDM channel (

I am doing as follows:
#The first step is to expand the .tar.gz file
#and I get this
# /home/hugo/Sismos/sac
#at the ~/sac/bin I have files
#sacinit.csh and sacinit.sh
#the README instructions say: ... and the sacinit file is modified accordingly.
#In the bin folder I have sacinit.csh and sacinit.sh, in these two files I did:
setenv SACHOME /home/hugo/Sismos/sac #at sacinit.csh
export SACHOME=/home/hugo/Sismos/sac #at sacinit.sh
#then gedit ~/.cshrc adding the lines

I get the compressed sac file. Then, following the instructions on the email I decompress the sofware but install is a problem for me. Ubuntu makes me no easy install the software as expected on /usr/local/ the reason is, I guess, the permitions to work with folders on this part of the system. It is possible to install and work with the software on another path? for example /home/ewm/? I try to do this way, I modify the .sh script but when I run sac from the terminal I been ask to install this …

I follow two suggested procedures but still I do get it, I do not know what I am doing wrong to get sac running in Ubuntu
