Hi, everyone! I'm working on a local magnitude scale and I need to convert data (which is in meters) to Wood-Anderson. I'm not sure if the parameters in transfer for Wood-Anderson (you know, when you write "transfer from none to wa") are set to nanometers, so when I read amplitudes I don't know if they're shown in meters or nanometers. Or maybe I should change my data in meters to nanometers just before using "transfer from none to wa"? Also, do you know how to find "src" to modify wa.c? I can'…

Hello,
I have band passed a teleseismic event waveform with ( bp c
0.01 0.1 n 4 p 2), It filtered the noise and given a nice waveform shape.
But buy applying multiple times band-pass filter ( bp c 0.01 0.1 n 4 p 2)
to same waveform I observed slight change in waveform every time. Why it is
so? Can I work with multiple times filtered waveform?

Hello!
I have a set of nine p-wave data and I would like to know if there is
correlation between it.
Someone would know tell me how I should make using "correlate" command in
the SAC?

Hi.
I am trying to convert SAC files into ascii files. I found the sac2asc code
but I can't compile it. It should be just something like " make sac2asc",
but it is not working.
Does anyone have another option/version to convert the files from SAC to
ascii?
Thanks
Joana

Hi sac users,
I have the following sac macro:
*sc mkdir GoodOnesdo file wild X4_GC_16/*sac setbb vert $file r %vert qdp
off p setbb resp (REPLY "Enter g to copy the file to GoodOnes")if %resp eq
"g" then sc cp %vert GoodOneselse Message "...This was a bad
event." endifenddo*
I want to plot each file and examine it and then send it to GoodOnes folder
by typing "g". But the graphic window it shows does not plot anything at
all and it is all white.
What could be the possible e…

I would be very gratefull for your help.
