DMC Network Maintenance - April 26 4pm PDT 04/26/2011 We will be conducting brief networking maintenance at 4pm today. Connections to FTP, web and DHI related services will likely be sporadic for several minutes. Web services will be unavailable or sporadic during this maintenance.

Hello webservice users, The DMC has updated it's ws-bulkdataselect service: http://www.iris.edu/ws/bulkdataselect/ The new version adds two optional query parameters: minimumlength Enforce minimum segment length (seconds). Only time-series segments of this length or longer will be returned. longestonly If specified, only the longest continuous segment for each channel is returned. Hello webservice users, The DMC has updated it's ws-station service: http://www.iris.edu/ws/station/ For users parsing the StationXML returned by ws-station be aware that a new <Network> element that encases all appropriate <Station> elements has been added to the output. For users of the DMC's Fetch scripts no change is required. The changes include: Add "Network" level element new to StationXML and a "net" level of results that returns only network information. Hello web service users, The DMC's prototype MetaData Service (MDS), aka http://www.iris.edu/mds/, be shut down on May 2nd 2011. The functional replacement is the ws-station service: http://www.iris.edu/ws/station/ which returns station metadata in StationXML format and is fully supported.
