The images are named as STAtion_Component.datatype, in the same format as we received them. The fourth letter in the station code denotes the instrument used to record the seismogram if multiple instruments were operational at the time. 'B' = Bosch-Omori, `W' = Wiechert, `G' = Gallitzin, `E' = Ewing
When more than one component are recorded on the same image scan, the file is labeled with both components, eg. MTM_N_E.jp2
When the components are not clear, they are labeled as 1 and 2, e.g., RCR_1_2.jpg
When the seismograms were scanned in halves, they are labeled as L and R for left and right, e.g., EBR_E_L.TIF
