seismograms from this earthquake were scanned as part of the ICSU
Scanning Project.
Please note that there were smaller earthquakes occurred before and after
the Caracas earthquake, especially on July 29 at 10:24 in northern Colombia (M=6), and on July 30,
at 1:30 in Turkey (M=5.8), at 10:49 in Macquarie Is. (M=5.1), and at 13:35 in New Ireland
(M=5.2).
