Data Set Description The three-dimensional P- and S-wave model for central Virginia is based on local earthquake tomography. The data consist of arrival times recorded by a temporary 12 station deployment following the Mw 5.7 2011 Mineral Virginia earthquake. The deployment ran from April, 2017 through November, 2018 and recorded several hundred aftershocks. The model presents a 3D image of velocity structure in the main aftershock region of the Mineral earthquake. Resolution is highest in the depth range 1 to 5 km.
