Data Services Products: EMC-TW-PS-H14 A 3D P-wave and S-wave velocity model of Taiwan

Summary

TW-PS-H14 is a 3D P-wave and S-wave velocity model of Taiwan from joint inversion of P-wave and S-wave travel times, strong motion S-P times, and borehole logging data.

Description

Name TW-PS-H14
Title 3D P-wave and S-wave velocity model of Taiwan from joint inversion of P-wave and S-wave travel times, strong motion S-P times, and borehole logging data.
Type 3-D Tomography Earth Model
Sub Type P-wave/S-wave velocity (km/s) and velocity perturbation (%), and Vp/Vs ratio
Year 2014

Short Description   A new set of 3-D Vp, Vs, and Vp/Vs models for Taiwan region is determined by an elaborate joint-inversion scheme that integrates the data of P- and S-wave travel times, S-P times, and the borehole logging data (for near-surface correction) into one system.
