Description
Name | TX2019slab |
Title | A global P and S mantle model incorporating subducting slabs |
Type | 3-D Tomography Earth Model |
Sub Type | P and S velocity |
Year | 2019 |
Short Description | TX2019slab provides shear velocity perturbations with respect to the averaged TNA/SNA model and compressional velocity perturbations with respect to the ak135-f model with the mean from the individual layers removed. The grid is not representative of the block size used in the inversion. |

Depth Coverage | Whole Mantle (0 to 2890 km) |
Area | Global (-90° to 90°, 0° to 360°) |
Data Set Description | |
Supplemental Information | Zip bundle contains 22 gridded files for P and S velocity perturbations at each depth range, separately. In each gridded file, three columns are corresponding to latitude, longitude, and velocity perturbation in percentage. The 22 depth ranges are provided in “layerdepth” file. In the “relocated_eq_list” file, the latitude, longitude, depth, and origin time shift are shown for the relocated earthquakes. |
