I'm Hamdi ALKAN and post graduate student from Karadeniz Technical
University, Trabzon, TURKEY. I study to compile sac-101.6a. As the
following, i sent error message.

    Dear Hamdi Alkan

    It appears that you either a) had trouble compiling sac or b) had trouble running the tests "make check". When you ran "make check" did you see windows with data appear and disappear on your screen ? If not, you probably do not have your environment setup properly. I would suggest initially trying to run

    % ./src/sac
    SAC> fg seismo
    SAC> p1
    SAC> quit
    %

    This should show a simple seismogram on your screen. If not, something is wrong, possibly X11 in not installed on your machine.
