Dear SAC users

I installed iasp routine ttimes. Then I checked in terminal and got message like:
[sys@localhost ~]$ ttimes
This routine for calculating travel times for specific distances uses a set of precalculated
tau-p tables for the iasp91 model.

open: No such file or directory apparent state: unit 1 named /usr/local/sac/iaspei/iasp91.hed
last format: list io lately writing direct formatted external IO Aborted (core dumped)

I want to know is this some error from above message and want to know how to put
travel times in the sac header file using this ttimes routine (what is the
command I can use in terminal to put header information for travel times in SAC waveform files).
Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

best,earth.

    Hi Nasir,

the file iasp91.hed live in $SACHOME/aux/tables dir.

I not use the ttimes, but you can to try the TauP Toolkit:
    http://www.seis.sc.edu/TauP

In this package you can find the taup_setsac utility,
i think that it can help you

    Cheers
