I'm trying to use the "grayscale" function with volcano.xyz or others 3D
files but I receive the following message:

sacrunfile: 1: sacrunfile: Utahgrayscale: not found

I installed the urt-3.1b but I have the same problem.

Do you have any recommendations about how to solve it?

All the best.

    Dear All -

The Utah raster routines are a rather dated feature of SAC graphics from the era when personal workstations were the size of refrigerators and cool programmers had bushy beards and sideburns. The message refers to an auxiliary shell script that used to sit in SAC’s aux directory that closed a separate window into which raster images were drawn, and that was not part of SAC’s graphic display window. It is evidently missing in the version of SAC that you’re using. It hasn’t been present or required in SAC/BRIS for over 10 years so you should consider grayscale images broken in whatever version of SAC that you’re using.
