then if you have other package have same name "SAC"
TRY TO locate it by terminal "which sac" and rename as "sac_old"
try again with new terminal to run sac again.

I think the problem with SACINIT script. Edit the shell script to point the installation directory to /usr/bin/sac. SACAUX also has to be set to the directory of your installation.

And then your sac (Seismic Analysis code) is going to work fine.

Dear all,
I've installed sac-101.6a-linux_x86_64 into my Ubuntu
and put it to /usr/bin/sac. I've done everything but
everytime I tried to run my sac, it always appeared like this :

massita@massita-Lenovo-Ideapad-Flex-14:~$ sac
Total: 21.84 over 7 days.
massita@massita-Lenovo-Ideapad-Flex-14:~$ sac
Total: 21.85 over 7 days.
massita@massita-Lenovo-Ideapad-Flex-14:~$ sac
Total: 21.85 over 7 days.
massita@massita-Lenovo-Ideapad-Flex-14:~$ sac
Total: 21.85 over 7 days.
massita@massita-Lenovo-Ideapad-Flex-14:~$ sac
Total: 22.00 over 7 days.
massita@massita-Lenovo-Ideapad-Flex-14:~$ sac
Total: 22.01 over 7 days.

I know, my sac is already been installed because there is
no "command not found" in the terminal. But it still won't work.
Could anyone help me to solve it ?
