* The Global Grid Forum is meeting in Boston Oct 3-6. GGF is split into
an "enterprise" track (ie e-commerce and that sort of things) and a
"community" track (ie lead by academics and government researchers).
See http://www.ggf.org/ggf_events_ggf15.htm and
http://www.ggf.org/ggf_events_ggf15_Community_Involvement.htm for some
stuff.
* SC05 is in Seattle this year. Supercomputing is mostly a tradeshow,
but there are several interesting conferences attached to it, such as
Grid2005 (led by Dan Katz at JPL) and GCE2005 (led by Mary Thomas). See
http://acel.sdsu.edu/mtgs/gce05/ for info on the latter.

Thanks, I added those events to the calender at
http://marinemetadata.org/info/confworkmtg/
We're trying to keep a comprehensive list of relevent meetings
there, so I hope people will either add events or post them to this list
so I can add them.
Cheers -Nan
