IRIS Geophysics Community:

The Ocean Bottom Seismograph Instrument Pool (OBSIP) Management Office
(OMO) has set up a mailing list to provide a forum for the discussion of
technical and operational issues relating to Ocean Bottom Seismographs,
in particular, the instruments operated by and data produced by the
Ocean Bottom Seismograph Instrument Pool. The goal of this mailing list
is to encourage collaboration between the OBS operators and researchers
and to provide a public discussion forum for the complex issues and
challenges of using OBS data.

OMO will use this mailing list in addition to the OBSIP website
(www.obsip.org http://www.obsip.org) to push information and
announcements pertinent to researchers using OBSIP instruments and
encourages list members to post instrument and data technical issues
that may be of interest to a wider audience of OBS users.
