The Geophysics Group at Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct research in elastic-waveform inversion using active and passive seismic data for subsurface characterization and reservoir monitoring. Experience with parallel computing using CPU/GPU clusters is preferred. A PhD in Geophysics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field completed within the last FIVE years, or soon to be completed, is required.
