Visiting Assistant Professor in Geophysics
Location: Chestnut Hill, MA

The Earth and Environmental Sciences Department at Boston College seeks to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor for a 1-year term position starting in late summer 2017.

Teaching responsibilities: The teaching load is approximately 12 credits, including some combination of: Geophysical Data Processing (EESC5572, 3 credits), Environmental Systems: Quantitative Analysis (EESC2208, 2 credits), Oceanography (EESC1157, 4 credits), Introduction to Geophysics (EESC3391, 3 credits), and/or another course in the successful candidate's area of specialty.

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should have a PhD in Geophysics, Oceanography, Geology or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education by the time of appointment. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level is an advantage.
