Thread: Visiting professor opportunity at University of New Mexico

Applications are sought for a visiting professor position in the Earth and Planetary Science department at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. The position requires teaching a brief seminar class on a topic in “applied geoscience” and spending between 2-4 months at UNM during the 2017-2018 academic year. It is desirable for applicants to identify potential for the position to facilitate research collaborations with UNM faculty and students. Applicants with considerable research experience in industry are encouraged. The position could also be a good fit for faculty looking for an active academic environment for a sabbatical. The position is not designed to lead to longer-term employment at UNM. Please see the attached advertisement for additional information.
