IRIS Data Services is organizing the 10th Workshop on “Managing Data from Seismic Networks” from August 20-27, 2017 in Pretoria, South Africa. The Council for Geosciences is our local host and a co-sponsor of the workshop.

This is the first time that the data workshop is taking place in Sub-Saharan Africa and our priority for participants is researchers from and operators of seismic networks in Africa. Space is limited at this time to 25 participants.

Registration for this workshop is now open. Please visit THE WORKSHOP WEBSITE http://ds.iris.edu/ds/workshops/2017/08/draft-managing-data-from-seismic-networks/ (http://ds.iris.edu/ds/workshops/2017/08/draft-managing-data-from-seismic-networks/)to see the draft agenda, and register for the workshop if you are from a network in Africa.
