We have determined that there is an immediate need to perform some critical maintenance on the primary waveform databases that serve the DMC in Seattle as well as the auxiliary IRIS datacenter in Livermore, CA. During this maintenance period, it is expected that the following web services will be impacted:
fdsnws-dataselect
irisws-timeseriesplot
irisws-timeseries

The maintenance period will begin at 3pm PDT and is expected to last less than ~20 minutes for the Seattle datacenter. However, requests sent to the Livermore datacenter may be impacted for several additional hours as updates are completed. A follow-up announcement will be sent to the listserve once the maintenance period has completed for both datacenters.

Thank you for your patience during this time and we extend our apologies for the disruptions caused by this downtime.
