The U.S. National Science Foundation is accepting nominations for the prestigious Alan T. Waterman Award, which recognizes early career scientists and engineers deserving of special recognition as a result of their outstanding contributions to the STEM enterprise.
NSF is especially interested in nominations for women, members of underrepresented groups in science and engineering, and person with disabilities.
It’s also been quite some time since a geoscientist has been on the list of awardees!
